When the dew is still on the fields early in the morning, Green Specialties harvests her vegetables. Because they are at best then, both taste and texture. All the spinach, baby leaf and rucola will be harvested with special harvesting machinery. A band saw cuts the leafy vegetables on exactly the correct height. Only the stem will be cut; the leaf stays undamaged.
Then, the leafy vegetables go immediately in boxes to a refrigerated room. No minute will be lost. Green Specialties has its own cooling cells, where the vegetables will be directly refrigerated to a maximum of 5 degrees. In the cooling cell, we control the quality again. Only the best quality will be packed within Green Specialties.
